Labradorite is also known as the transformation gemstone, or star gemstone. It is said to be formed from stardust, imbued with its characteristic, blue-green iridescence by alien lifeforms on strange, distant planets. It bestows strength and constitution upon its wearer.
Lovely peach flash, shame the round labradorite is t faceted though.
The shell-like colours in this bead always come as a surprise as they shimmer in the light
Due to their small size it's difficult to create a bead to catch the flash in a Labradorite, but sometimes you're lucky and here's an example of a light grey stone which has lilac depths with an aqua flash and a deeper blue flash which creates an almost rainbow effect. I loved the lilac light running through it (which is hard to catch in a photo) It is perfect for working with spiritual beads like amethyst. I've paired it with a lovely white moonstone round and a silver moon on my changeable fantasy necklace. All the small round labradorites I have handled have had good energies.
I love the labradorite stone and wanted to try this round bead. It didn’t disappoint, some lovely flashes of blue which is hard to capture in a photo.
My first of these type of beads, it’s my next collection. This one is a lovely colour.
I have put this on my blue collection bracelet and it has brought out the shades of blue in it. Lovely bead.
