From the same mineral as the ruby, this gemstone is said to bring peace, joy and wisdom symbolizing truth and sincerity, playing with each glimpse of sunlight.
This was my first gemstone Trollbead and it was a beautiful bright blue. However the colours do vary a lot, some having quite a bit of grey in them so you have to pick carefully.
It’s ok but very expensive and not nearly as nice as some of the cheaper gemstones.

The bead was very disappointing Doesn’t come close to sapphire. Very grey in colour and looks unfinished. This was meant to be a gift for my wife on our sapphire wedding anniversary
