Gold-plated items are not designed for continuous wear. To help maintain their appearance and prolong the life of the plating, we strongly recommend removing them before sleeping, showering, swimming, exercising, or taking part in any activity where they may come into contact with moisture, oils or chemicals. Over time, normal wear may cause the gold plating to fade; re-plating services are not available.
Please note that gold-plated items are exempt from our two-year warranty.
Silver is a supple metal that is softer than gold. Silver can be polished to a mirror-like shine. The characteristic lightness of the colour is due to the metal’s very effective light-reflecting properties. Trollbeads are produced in Sterling silver, consisting of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, primarily copper. Therefore, all Trollbeads silver beads are stamped with the hallmark “LAA 925s”.
