We want the purchase of your Trollbeads to be the start of very personal journey, each bead chosen with care to tell your unique story over time.
To ensure this, upon supply of your proof of purchase or gift receipt, we offer a 12 month guarantee on all Trollbeads products*, offering confidence and quality reassurance from the date of sale.
We take our customer care very seriously and believe our care lasts long after you have taken your Trollbeads home. If a stock fault develops, please take your Trollbeads to an approved Trollbeads retailer along with your proof of purchase or gift receipt and they will expertly advise you.
General wear and tear, customer damage or items that become faulty due to misuse are not covered by the Warranty Policy.
Please be wary of copies, we can only exchange faulty Trollbeads purchased from approved retail outlets in the UK and Ireland. Please check for the Birmingham Assay mark and LAA suppliers mark for authenticity.
*Please note that leather is a natural product that will stretch over time and will mark. Trollbeads leather bracelets are made from the finest German leather. Leather products are not guaranteed.
Care of your Trollbeads
Trollbeads are unique and precious and if treated with care they will last a lifetime.
Please follow our care guidelines to ensure that your Trollbeads stay looking as good as new.
Gentle, regular buffing with a silver-polishing cloth will keep the lustre in your Trollbeads and that is all you need to do to keep them clean and sparkling.
We strongly advise you never to use chemical silver dip, cleaners or cleaning fluids as these products include substances such as peroxide and bleach that will damage your beads.
Also take care when using hand creams and perfumes as they often contain alcohol which can adversely affect the beads.
Please avoid immersing your beads in very hot water or sea water as this may cause damage to the resin settings of the stones and pearls. Finally, please do not wear your jewellery in chlorinated swimming pools or in spa pools.
When you are not wearing your silver bracelet, beads, earrings or rings, we recommend that you store them in an air-tight bag to prevent further oxidisation.
Bracelets and Chains
The personal fitting of your bracelet by an approved Trollbeads stockist is very important as it ensures the bracelets is just right for you and that there is enough slack for new beads to be added without putting pressure on the lock.
If the bracelet is too tight it may force the lock open and beads could be lost. As an added precaution we recommend that you have a stopper or safety chain fitted to your bracelet.
We strongly recommend for full and heavy bracelets and necklaces that the Basic Lock 10103 is not chosen as it is more vulnerable than the larger stronger locks and can snag inside the larger holed beads.
Remember that this dainty Basic Lock 10103 is most suitable for lighter bracelets and necklaces.
If you wear silver beads on your gold chain, please be aware that the silver can deposit a slight tarnish. You can easily remove this by gently buffing the chain regularly with a silver-polishing cloth.
Ask your jeweller about their cleaning service, professional maintenance and care will prolong the life of your jewellery.
