Following on from the success of last year’s People’s Bead competition here is your chance to have your very own bead design added to the Trollbeads collection.
The competition starts on Monday, August 2nd and finishes on Sunday, August 22nd 2010. You can submit your design at any time in this period, via Trollbeads Universe, the global Trollbeads fan website.
To enter:
- Prepare your design in a format that can be uploaded to the website. Last year we received scans of hand-drawn, and painted designs as well as those using graphic design software. We don't mind, so long as the design is clear.
- Provide an accompanying story that tells us about the inspiration and meaning of your creation.
- These must be uploaded via the Trollbeads Universe website.
- Full terms are available on the site where you upload your design. You are able to enter as many designs as you wish.
How is a winner selected?
After the closing date, there will be one week in which Trollbeads fans from all over the world vote for their favourite design. The public vote asks people to choose from the 10 finalists, and closes on 29th August 2010. The winning design will be selected and added to the Trollbeads collection ready for Christmas 2010. The winning designer will win their bead crafted in 18 carat gold, and the nine runners up will receive the winning bead design in silver.
We know that Trollbeads fans have creative souls and we'd be so proud if this year's winning bead came from the UK or Ireland. So, it's time to get imaginative. Be inventive and artistic - your design really could be the People's Bead 2010.
