Hooper Bolton in Cheltenham hosted their first Trollbeads lampworking event on Sunday, showcasing a wonderful range of unique beads, alongside the Trollbeads collection. Despite the bad weather, almost 200 Trollbeads fans of all ages came to Cheltenham Town Hall to spend the day with fellow Trollbeads enthusiasts, to show off their ever growing collections and add to them.

Eager Trollbeads collectors, old and new, gathered around the bustling counters to view the fantastic choice of Trollbeads charm beads available.  Customers were treated to Champagne on arrival and delicious cupcakes delightfully decorated with edible Trollbeads. There were Trollbeads goody bags to take away and some tempting special offers.

Georgina Black, Trollbeads Lampworker, was on hand all day demonstrating the intricate techniques involved in crafting stunning glass Trollbeads and a selection of lucky fans was delighted to get the chance to have their own unique beads made.

“It was a lovely day and I can’t wait for my own personal Armadillo to arrive in a few weeks”, commented one satisfied customer.

“Our first Trollbeads party has been a massive success”, said Caroline Morse, Manager of Hooper Bolton. “It seems the torrential rain did nothing to stop the Trollbeads Cotswolds customers coming out in full force! Georgina, the lampworker, was a big hit, as were the mini Trollbeads cakes which I had lovingly handmade. We are already planning another event!”

All you need to do to make one of the images below your computer desktop is to follow these simple instructions:

1- Right-click (or ctrl-click if you have a one-button Mac mouse) on the image below and choose the option that says, “Set as Desktop Background”, or words to that effect – you can choose between widescreen and non-widescreen versions, depending on your screen shape.

2- If the image does not fit your desktop background neatly, you may have to go to your preferences screen (on a Mac: System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop; on Windows: Control Panel > Display > Desktop) and choose “Fit to screen” as the display mode of your background image.

“Since working at Fable Trading Ltd I have developed a large Trollbeads collection.  It isn’t hard to fall in love with these amazing beads when you handle them every day.

Trollbeads Red Tigers Eye

The first bead I bought was Red Tiger’s Eye.  It is deep red in colour and has a stripe of light running through it.  One of my favourite things about Trollbeads is that every bead is unique and I believe that makes them more personal to me.

Trollbeads Indian Elephant

Another bead I have is the Indian Elephant.  I bought this bead to remind me of my forthcoming trip to India with my colleague Hal Elston and, on return, it will remind me of my amazing time here at Fable Trading Ltd.

Trollbeads Triple Pearl Black

One very special bead I own is the Black Triple Pearl as it symbolises a great friendship I have made working here with my team mates Tara Little and Elly Barnett who also own one too.  The three pearls are all different and I believe this is a great metaphor for our friendship.

My time at Fable Trading Ltd has been truly memorable and I am sure I will continue to collect Trollbeads after I leave!”
