Trollbeads Inspirational Family

Given that the family is so filled with energy and creativity, it is no surprise that the vast majority of family members today work at Trollbeads.  It is such a family business that, not surprisingly, Trollbeads is often the subject of conversation when the family gets together.  As a rule, this happens about once a month.  The family discusses the newest designs, they pore over new inventions and scrutinise the latest events.

“Whenever we meet, most of us will bring along a little bag containing a new bead or a new lock.  All those small bags changing hands looks very suspicious” smiles Lise’s husband, Peter Aagaard.  He continues “The advantages of being a family firm are that we share a common history and we know each other very well indeed.  And the bond of trust within the family unit means that we can count on getting things done and on things being delivered on time.  We have very strong ties.”  In fact, a family firm of this calibre is a rarity today.

Lise’s three older brothers all contribute – the eldest, Jens, is a qualified goldsmith and casts all new Trollbeads designs.  Jens designed the fabulous silver Large Berry charm bead.  Soren is a trained silversmith and created so many Trollbeads charm beads, he is unstoppable and always full of useful ideas. The third brother, Per, is a fully qualified engineer and created the robot that bores holes in freshwater pearls amongst many other vital pieces of equipment.

Lise and Peter’s daughter, Isabel, designed the Origami bead.  Robin, their eldest son, works at Trollbeads in IT and event planning and their youngest son, Niki, designed Trollbeads Four Elements and the versatile leather bracelet.

Chakras are said to be ‘force centres’ of energy .  They are considered the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies from the body. 	Root Chakra – The first chakra, represents the element earth and is therefore related to our survival instincts and to our sense of grounding and connection to our bodies and the physical plane. Ideally this chakra brings us health, prosperity, security and dynamic presence.
	Belly Chakra – The Belly or Navel Chakra, Svadhisthana, is also called the Sacral Chakra and is situated just below the navel. Its functions are to generate our sexual energies, creativity, new ideas, passion and endurance. Giving physical force, vitality and strength.
	Power Chakra – The third chakra, rules our personal power, will and autonomy, as well as our metabolism. When healthy, this chakra brings us energy, effectiveness, spontaneity and non-dominating power.
	Heart Chakra – The fourth chakra, is related to love and is the integrator of opposites in the psyche: mind and body, male and female, persona and shadow, ego and unity. A healthy fourth chakra allows us to love deeply, feel compassion and have a deep sense of peace.
	Throat Chakra – The fifth chakra, related to communication and creativity. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound representing language.
	Third Eye – This Trollbead, the sixth chakra, is related to the act of seeing, both physically and intuitively. As such it opens our psychic faculties and our understanding of archetypal levels. When healthy it allows us to see clearly, in effect, letting us “see the big picture.”
	Crown Chakra – The seventh chakra, is our connection to the greater world beyond, to a timeless, spaceless place of all-knowing. When developed, this chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, and bliss.
