Trollbeads & Steffans raising money for Cancer Research UK
The first Trollbeads UK Convention at Highgate House in Northampton has come and gone. It was a wonderful day, and marked a significant event for us all at Troll Towers – and we were so, so glad to see more than 600 Trollbeads fans joining us there.
The venue was spectacular in grandeur, befitting our wonderful Trollbeads, as well as the enlightening Museum, an awe-inspiring guest speaker slot from Trollbeads expert Niels, bead-making presentations and much, much more. So much to do.
We did, however, see that some of the expectations of our fans were not met on the day, and for that we remain truly disappointed. Our first Convention could have managed those expectations more effectively at times and we have learnt much.
To be honest, we misjudged both the requirements of the venue and the expectations of our fans. We have listened and heard the feedback from all, especially the few comments on our Facebook fan page which highlighted frustrations expressed by a few fans.
We would also like to take this opportunity for the incredible number of supportive, positive and forgiving comments made by our beloved fans on the Facebook platform too: in the words of one fan: “How do you learn if you don’t give it a go?”
We have learnt so much from talking to so many of you at the Convention, subsequent comments made online and to us privately and via the invaluable feedback forms we issued. We would like to stress that we too are disappointed that expectations were not met in full – we had misjudged your passion to purchase. So much energy was focussed on providing a first-class Trollbeads experience with certain key elements of the day, it is now clear that other items were overlooked.
We have digested all the comments, and it was wonderful to meet so many of our Trollbeads customers. Some of the feedback we have received in the last few days has been truly delightful, and we thank you for your support. We are here for you all.
Please continue to provide all the open, honest and full feedback to us – it helps to make the Trollbeads experience the fantastic, wonderful, caring experience we all know. Thank you.
